Motion Graphics Animator - Office of Advancement
Job Description

Conceptualize, plan, and design animated 2D/3D visualizations, according to creative brief and/or project specifications. He/she should be a talented artist who creates original pieces of artwork for digital productions.
Main Responsibilities
·         Grasp the production team’s needs and specifications through briefs.
·         Storyboarding for animations and basic VFX.
·         Creation of proprietary visual content such as: elements, character, clipart for videos.
·         Combining hand drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations.
·         Refining designs with illustration software.
·         Using various colours, graphics and effects to better convey each concept.
·         Collaborate with team manager, editors and marketers to sketch out their business needs to attract their audiences.
·         Create the sequencing of the animation: tweaking objects, refining and adding extra sound effects along with recording video and editing to support educational and learning objectives.
·         Understand strategy and copy to inform quick turnaround animation requirements.
·         Prepare presentations with raw designs to share with team.
·         Incorporate images with background graphics and special effects.
·         Ensure synchronization of frames and audio.
Work Schedule & Travel:
·         Must be flexible on work schedules and timings. Some travel maybe required for off campus productions and events.

Skills: 
·         Strong well-polished portfolio and show reel.
·         Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, Premiere, and cinema 4D.
·         Bachelor’s degree in art or comparable work experience.
·         Strong understanding of graphic design software: Cinema 4D, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
·         A solid background in academic drawing, sketching and/or illustration is a major asset.
·         Self-motivated, excellent communication and organisation skills, team player, proactive.
·         Project management skills to handle simultaneous projects and ensure smooth closure of deadlines.
Qualification: 
Bachelor’s degree in Art Media, Graphic Design or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience: 
Proven 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferably at a production house or game development software house.

Video Editor - Office of Advancement

All kinds of video editing for the University as per client requirements.
Main Responsibilities
·         Understand the production team’s needs and specifications.
·         Footage review, trimming footage segments and putting them together, particularly for digital platforms.
·         All post-production activities; responsible for leading post-production of online courses, lectures and MOOCs.
·         SFX including music input, dialogues, graphics and other effects. Must work with production team and manipulate raw camera footage, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
·         Script/storyboard writing.
·         Writing, and ensuring quality voiceover/commentary/transcriptions for subtitles.
·         Basic level of sound/music creation and manipulation for video pieces.
·         Communicate with stakeholders from production to post-production.
·         Continuously discover and implement new/evolving editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency.
Work Schedule & Travel

·         Video production for live broadcasts on OB Setup.
·         Determining what type of equipment to use; Setting up and tearing down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props.
·         Calibrating and maintaining equipment.
·         Troubleshooting problems with equipment.
·         Interviewing people and creating a film clip by editing raw footage.
·         Working in and outside the studio as part of a production team for different projects.

Senior Officer - Marketing - Office of Advancement

Create, develop and implement different strategies to market the LUMS programme portfolio. Study competitors to understand and execute devised strategies. Closely analyse and monitor the latest market trends and be able to execute different marketing campaigns to promote LUMS programmes online as well as through advertisements and on-ground activities. Support the team in elevating the LUMS brand and profile by devising effective strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Execute Marketing Plans
·         Execute marketing plans in line with the University’s marketing strategy and ensure alignment with all Schools and internal stakeholders
·         Manage marketing activities/campaigns to build brand awareness and conviction in target markets
·         Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure that all communication is aligned with the communication/marketing strategy
2. Stakeholders Management
·         Manage relationships with key stakeholders:

·         Research on marketing plans and activities to measure effectiveness of channels vs. spending and then improvise next year plans and campaigns accordingly
·         Gathering information on competitor schools/colleges and programmes to understand the current brand positioning of LUMS to plan future campaigns
4. Quality Assurance System
·         Assist in establishing an effective feedback mechanism for all stakeholders to persistently monitor the department’s performance and improve systems and processes. This will be adopted by all team members for holistic feedback and stakeholder management.
5. VIP Delegations/Visits
·         Manage all high profile visits at LUMS (ambassadors/government/academia/corporates etc.), along with conducting presentations and campus tour
·         Develop and strengthen relations with such visitors for effective marketing and brand building, particularly overseas visitors
6. Event Planning and Management
·         Develop campaigns and implement the same for University-wide events
·         Provide marketing support to Schools/departments for their flagship events
7. Marketing collateral and publicity material:
·         Liaison with academic and administrative staff to collate information for in-house publications for corporate events/University flagship events
·         Work with the Communications Team to lead the development of promotional collateral for admission campaign and make sure that all publication goals are being met as part of broader admission goals
·         Oversee the promotional merchandising for exhibitions including souvenirs/corporate gifts
8. Department’s Monthly reports
9. Support in ATL Campaigns
Other Responsibilities:
·         Provide support to current and upcoming departmental activities and initiatives
·         Research on brand image building for customised applications
Work Schedule: Business hours often extend into the evenings and weekends to accommodate demanding workload and event schedules. Travel will be required accassionally, more domestic and maybe international.
